Emirates unveils its new high-end cabins for its Boeing 777 fleet

Emirates passengers flying on its Boeing 777 can take advantage of refreshed interiors and new First Class private suites thanks to a multi-million dollar upgrade.

Now boasting floor-to-ceiling sliding doors and design features inspired by the Mercedes-Benz S-Class saloon, the fully enclosed suites offer up to 40 square feet of space to relax.

Business travellers can enjoy soft leather seating that reclines into a fully flat bed that can be placed in a “zero-gravity” position, inspired by NASA technology.

Personal minibars, high-tech control panels and mood lighting have also been included, whilst the in-flight entertainment system has been upgraded for all cabin classes, allowing passengers to view over 2,500 channels of on-demand entertainment on a 32-inch HD LC TV screen.

Virtual windows have been incorporated into suites located in the middle aisle, ensuring that all First Class customers benefit from views outside the aircraft. In other suites, binoculars are available for customers who want to explore the sky outside the windows.

Emirates is the largest operator of the Boeing 777 aircraft and boasts 165 in its fleet, operating flights to over 140 cities on six continents.
