12 Reasons campaign #2 – Experts on price

As our 12 Reasons campaign continues, we share our #2 reason on why we are experts on price.

#2 – Experts on price

When it comes to travel arrangements many of us strive to get the best quality service we can. However, price is still an important factor in our final booking choices.

We have a team of experts who are dedicated to finding the most suitable options for your business needs and will take into consideration your budget and requirements when looking at your travel solution.

We have access to some of the best rates available for worldwide travel and accommodation options. You can even browse yourself through our award winning online booking tool, assured that you will still be getting the best rates available.

How do we do this?

Well, firstly, we are Advantage Focus Group members, a group of like-minded travel professionals. The Focus Group works closely with suppliers to improve their collective buying power. Working with over 60 airlines and with access to 10 million airfare combinations, as well as competitive rates for hotels and car hire, we are able to pass on our formidable buying power to you.

Additionally, our rail system enables us to offer clever ticketing opportunities and to benchmark against train operating companies’ own websites. We really won’t be beaten on price.

What’s happening currently with price in the travel industry?

According to the trivago Hotel Price Index, hotel prices fell during August. In comparison to July, London hotel prices dropped by 16%, with other major UK cities following the same trend. The trend is unusual and more in line with winter months’ prices.

Regulated rail fares in England and Wales are due to rise by 1.9% as of January 2017. The Rail Delivery Group stated that passenger numbers have doubled in the decades, with £50bn being spent over the next few years to upgrade the rail network.

In April, air-fare prices were reported to have fallen by 14.2%, compared with a rise of 4.5% between the same two months the previous year.
