New and refurbished: Hotels worth a visit

We’ve looked at a few of the hotels from across the UK that have recently been refurbished and re-opened.

Clayton Hotel Chiswick, South London

With a £21m extension and refurbishment programme, which has focussed on the communal areas, a new look has been unveiled with a new ground floor and reception area offering a welcoming bar, premium coffee outlet and revamped restaurant and lounge area.

Pentahotel, Ipswich

The Pentahotel, previously named the Ramada Encore, has undergone a £2m refurbishment with a lifestyle neighbourhood concept running across its 126 bedrooms and through the public areas of the hotel.

Hotel Indigo, Liverpool

A refurbishment has seen the ground floor of the hotel, and the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar and Grill, revamped with a modern design, as well as a new menu. The lounge area, gym and reception have also seen improvements, with upgrades planned for the hotel’s bedrooms in the near future.

Best Western Cresta Court Hotel, South Manchester

As part of a £1.25 million refurbishment programme the hotel has launched its new Allen Suite meeting and conference facility, which complements the facilities of the larger Tatton Suite accommodating 350 people – the largest meeting space in the area.
